Is this a hotel or a full apartment?
It’s a private basement suite — 1 bedroom, dedicated bathroom, and exclusive-use lounge. Not a hotel room and not a shared hostel.
Do you have a full kitchen?
Kitchenette only — suitable for light meals, reheating, coffee, and snacks. Not a full chef’s kitchen.
How many guests can stay?
The suite sleeps up to 4. Confirm bed configuration and guest breakdown when you select dates on the Book page.
Is parking and Wi‑Fi included?
Yes — guest parking and Wi‑Fi are available.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed.
Where exactly is the suite?
We publish Frame Lake South, Yellowknife, near downtown and YZF. The exact street address is shared after booking confirmation.
Do you guarantee Northern Lights?
No. We provide a comfortable licensed base; aurora viewing depends on conditions and your tour or self-drive plans.
Is the rental licensed?
Yes. City of Yellowknife short-term rental licence STA 04 008715.
How do I book and pay?
Use the Booking Box on our Book page, or open Lodgify checkout (CAD). Payment is processed securely via Lodgify + Stripe. Cancellation terms are shown before you confirm.
What about rates?
Rates vary by date, length of stay, and guest count (and may include cleaning and applicable taxes). The widget and checkout are the source of truth — we don’t list a single fixed nightly price as the only rate on this site.
Do you offer other Yellowknife properties?
This site features the Knutsen suite only (North of Sixty · Cozy Aurora Retreat 1BR).
How do I reach you?
